Advanced Managed Search from KakaoCloud is a high-performance search service that provides OpenSearch-based search and analytics clusters as a fully managed platform. It enables users to easily index and explore large-scale data without operating complex infrastructure.
It delivers a stable search environment by automating all operational tasks required for OpenSearch, including cluster configuration, node management, index lifecycle management, security configuration, and monitoring.

Terminology
  • OpenSearch: OpenSearch is an open-source distributed search engine designed for real-time search, log analysis, and data exploration. It indexes large volumes of documents and processes queries efficiently, providing fast search and analytics. It also offers scalability and reliability through its shard and node architecture. Purpose and use cases​

Building and operating a search and analytics system directly requires complex operational tasks such as cluster installation and scaling, shard design, index management, failure recovery, and security configuration.
In environments where large volumes of data continuously flow in—such as logs, monitoring data, user activities, and service events—the operational burden can become significant and maintaining a stable processing structure can be challenging.
