Added Iceberg Catalog Type​

  • You can now register and manage tables in the Apache Iceberg format.
  • Catalogs, databases, and tables are now managed in two types:
    • Standard type: The existing catalog type compatible with Apache Hive Metastore
    • Iceberg type: Supports the Apache Iceberg table format

Notice of kr-central-1 region termination​

  • Due to the termination of the kr-central-1 region, this service is no longer available in that region. Going forward, you can continue to use the service reliably in the kr-central-2 region.

Added crawler functionality to the Data Catalog service​

  • The crawler scans MySQL data to extract metadata and automatically updates the Data Catalog, simplifying data discovery. For more details, refer to the Key Concepts and Creating and Managing Crawlers documentation.
