Transit Gateway overview

Transit Gateway is a centralized network hub that allows for easy and flexible connections between multiple Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) and on-premises networks. It supports Multi-AZ (Multiple Availability Zones), a key technology that improves the fault tolerance and availability of applications, enabling disaster recovery and enhancing overall system availability.

Permissions

Only Project Admin can access the transit gateway.

Purpose and use cases​

With the transit gateway, you can meet various network requirements in a cloud environment. By controlling multiple VPCs with a single virtual router, centralized management is possible, enabling more efficient network configuration and security management.
