File Storage Troubleshooting
This document explains solutions for issues related to the File Storage service.
No Response from File Storage Server
If the server does not respond, Storage recovery may be required. Please contact KakaoCloud Help Desk.
Mount Errors
When attempting to mount, you may encounter errors that prevent a successful mount.
Mount Point Does Not Exist
mount.nfs: mount point {Mount PATH} does not exist
The mount path {Mount PATH}
does not match the target path.
▶️ Solution: Create the target file at the correct mount path.
Already Mounted
mount.nfs: ... already mounted
The file system is already mounted.
▶️ Solution: No additional mount is required; use the mount
command to verify the mount status.
Access Denied or Connection Timed Out
mount.nfs: ... access dened or Connection timed out
Check the "Access Control Settings" on the File Storage instance and allow the IP address of the target destination. Additionally, verify the network connection between the target instance and File Storage.
▶️ Solution: Refer to the File Storage Access control settings
Checksum mismatch
If a checksum mismatch occurs when copying data to the mounted path, Storage recovery may be required. In this case, please contact KakaoCloud Help Desk.
Quota Limit Issues
If you cannot create a new File Storage instance or increase storage capacity, it may be due to reaching the maximum number of resources allowed within a single domain in KakaoCloud.
▶️ Solution: Quota limits for File Storage can be increased upon request. Please contact Help Desk to request a quota increase.
