  • Added Point-in-time Recovery (PITR) support. You can now restore an instance group to a specific point in time using automatic backups and binary logs.
  • Added security group modification feature.
  • Added support for account creation procedure plugin and account password change procedure.

Feature Additions​

  • You can now view scheduled maintenance on the instance list. If any tasks are scheduled within a week, an info box will appear above the list.
  • Added instance restart support. This deprecates the MySQL restart (process-only) option previously available only for single availability mode.
  • Added “Import Existing Parameters” feature when editing parameter groups to retrieve settings from other custom parameter groups.
  • If a volume expansion requires instance IOPS application, a “Restart Required” badge is now displayed.
  • A “Version Mismatch” badge is displayed when an instance group and its parameter group have differing engine versions due to maintenance.

Notice: kr-central-1 Region Termination​

  • MySQL service has been terminated in the kr-central-1 region. The service continues to operate normally in the kr-central-2 region.

HA Architecture​

  • When creating an instance group, Primary and Standby can now be specified based on availability mode.
  • High availability mode allows addition of up to 5 Standby instances.

Manual Failover Support​

  • Added manual Failover support when using Standby.
  • Manual Failover requires a completed backup in “Succeeded” status.
  • For “Add Instance After Restore” feature, use backups created after Jan 16.
  • Instance group lifecycle now reflects HA structure (group, instance, failover).
  • Availability status now shown for instance groups and instances.
