Manage mandatory notice alerts
Mandatory notice alerts are email notifications sent to customers to ensure the continuous functionality of KakaoCloud products and services. These notifications mainly include contractual obligations or information important to KakaoCloud operations. Mandatory notice alerts are sent at the organization level, and only users with organization roles can access this feature.
Limitations for IdP-integrated organizations
Mandatory notice alerts are limited for organizations that use IdP integration for their cloud account system.
- General Alert Center alerts can be delivered by email when the user ID is an email address, regardless of the account type.
- Mandatory notice alerts check whether the organization uses IdP integration and are not available to IdP-integrated organizations by default. General Alert Center alerts do not check the organization's IdP integration status.
If a user ID in an IdP-integrated organization is not an email address, general Alert Center alerts cannot be delivered because the user's email address cannot be identified.
Request an exception
You can request an exception to enable mandatory notice alerts for an IdP-integrated organization.
- Exceptions are supported only when the user ID is an email address.
- After the exception is applied, you must set the initial recipients in Configure recipients.

View delivery history
The following describes how to view delivery history and delivery results for mandatory notice alerts sent by KakaoCloud.

Go to KakaoCloud console > Management > Alert Center for Organization.

Select Mandatory notice alerts > Delivery history and check the list.

Manage recipients
Recipients of mandatory notice alerts are managed at the organization level. The following describes how to view and configure recipients.
Automatic recipient registration
When an organization is created, the organization owner is automatically registered as a default recipient for mandatory notice alerts.
View recipients
You can check the registered recipient list from the following path.

Go to KakaoCloud console > Management > Alert Center for Organization.

Select Mandatory notice alerts > Recipients and check the list.

Configure recipients
Mandatory notice alert recipients can be added or changed by user or group.

Go to KakaoCloud console > Management > Alert Center for Organization.

Select Mandatory notice alerts > Recipients.

Select [Configure recipients] in the upper-right corner.

Select the recipient type and targets, then select [Save].
