Certificate Manager Overview

KakaoCloud's Certificate Manager service enables users to register and delete SSL certificates through a single unified interface, and manage them consistently across various services.

Purpose and use cases​

Users can register SSL certificates with Certificate Manager and apply them to services such as Load Balancing and Kubernetes Engine as needed.

Load Balancing

  • When adding an HTTPS listener to an ALB or NLB
  • When configuring a TERMINATED_HTTPS listener on an ALB (e.g., when integrated with Kubernetes Engine)

Kubernetes Engine

  • When creating a service and configuring HTTPS-based ingress with an ALB
