Manage scheduled tasks

View scheduled task list

Check the list of scheduled tasks and basic information by service currently registered in the system.

Recommended schedule is suggested for stable operation, and its configuration is optional.

  • If no schedule is set, the task will not run.
  • Tasks can still be executed after the recommended date.
  1. Go to KakaoCloud console > Management > Maintenance.

  2. Navigate to Scheduled menu and check currently registered scheduled tasks.

    RequirementIndicates whether task is mandatory or recommended
    - Mandatory: Must be performed
    - Recommended: Suggested for stable operation
    Recommended scheduleSuggested schedule for executing task
    - Depends on requirement; for recommended tasks, updates can be made after the suggested date
    - User reservation required badge: Displayed when user has not scheduled the task. Scheduling is required to execute the task.
    PriorityImportance level used to set task execution order
    - High/medium/low priority determines execution order
    TypeUpdate target of task
    Examples: Kernel upgrade, Engine upgrade, OS update
    Task statusOverall progress status of task
    - Determined based on states of included resources
    - Examples: Pending, Reserved, In progress, Completed, Failed
    Target resourcesResources included in the task
    - Each resource can have its own schedule and execution status

View scheduled task details

Check details, target resources, and events of a scheduled task.

  1. Go to KakaoCloud console > Management > Maintenance.

  2. Navigate to Scheduled menu and select a registered scheduled task.

  3. View details on scheduled task detail screen.

View detailed information such as task information, update details, and task content.

- Determined based on states of included resources
- Examples: Pending, Reserved, In progress, Failed
DowntimeIndicates whether service interruption occurs during task execution
- Classified as Downtime/No downtime; in case of downtime, brief impact may occur
ServiceService where task is executed
RequirementIndicates whether task is mandatory or recommended
- Mandatory: Must be performed
- Recommended: Suggested for stable operation
Estimated downtimeEstimated time of possible service interruption during task execution
- May differ from actual downtime; refer during updates
Target resourcesNumber of resources included in task
Update details
