Overview

KakaoCloud's Domain Name System (DNS) service manages mapping information that converts human-readable domain names into machine-readable IP addresses, enabling communication between computers. Users can create DNS zones and DNS records without the need to manage a separate DNS server. Based on this information, the DNS service controls which server users are connected to.

With KakaoCloud DNS, users can easily create DNS zones and records without managing separate DNS servers.

  • Domain hosting mapped to a public IP address: After setting up name servers for a domain purchased from a domain registrar, users can create DNS zones with KakaoCloud DNS to ensure that the domain responds with the actual IP address of the computer hosting the site.
