API Overview

The Secrets Manager API is a RESTful API that allows you to retrieve existing secrets.

This guide documents the existing Secrets Manager API. For new Secrets Manager API integrations on KakaoCloud Public Cloud, use the endpoint and request/response schema provided in the OpenAPI documentation. The OpenAPI may differ from this guide in available API scope and endpoint.

API basics​

  • All API responses are returned in JSON format.
  • To call the API, you must obtain an IAM access key ID and a secret access key.
