Product name change

To standardize the service structure, the product name and API names for Object Storage have been changed.

  • Data capacity: Hot Bucket -> Standard Storage Class
  • API product name: Added the 'Standard-' prefix to existing names, such as Standard-PUT and Standard-GET.

Improvements

View object count and capacity in Monitoring tab

  • You can view the object count and storage capacity for the past week, 14 days, and 30 days as graphs.
  • Changed bucket name search from prefix-based search to include-based search.

File upload

  • Single file upload size: 10 GB -> 50 GB
  • Maximum number of files per upload: 30 -> 1,000
  • Maximum number of concurrent file transfers: 5
  • Resumable upload is not supported.
  • Files larger than 5 GB are uploaded using SLO multipart upload.
  • For multipart upload, check the following items:
    • If you overwrite a file with the same name but a different size, segment files may remain. We recommend deleting the existing file before uploading it again.
    • For incomplete objects that are still uploading or damaged, metadata editing, renaming, copying, and moving are unavailable. For multipart upload objects that have completed uploading, all four features except metadata editing are unavailable.

  • When creating a new bucket, you can configure encryption to automatically encrypt all objects stored in the bucket.
  • You can view detailed information about buckets, objects, and permissions. However, users must have a role for getIamPolicy to view permission information.
