Step 3. Register user and add organization roles

- This step can be performed by an Organization owner or Organization administrator depending on the KakaoCloud IAM roles.
- This document explains adding organization roles. For adding project roles, refer to Add project roles.
Register user in organization (Required)
For users in the organization to use KakaoCloud services in the console, the organization owner or administrator must first register the user in the organization.
Follow the steps below to register a user in the cloud organization.
- Go to Management > IAM > Users in the KakaoCloud Console.
- Click the Register user button.
- Select Register new user or Bulk register users.
- Register new user registers users individually.
- Bulk register users allows registering up to 100 users at once.
- Enter the required information for user registration and click the Register button.
- Check the registered user in the user list.
Add organization roles (Optional)
Organization roles include Organization owner, Organization administrator, Billing administrator, Billing manager, and Billing viewer.

Users must be registered in the organization before assigning organization roles.
- Go to Management > IAM in the KakaoCloud Console.
- Go to the Users menu.
- Select a user, then click ⋮ > Edit organization roles.
- Select the roles to add, then click the Update button.
- For detailed permissions by role, refer to IAM roles.
- Check the added role information in the user list.
