Step 1. Create cloud account

Before you start

To use KakaoCloud services, the primary cloud administrator of your organization must sign up and create organizational cloud account. Before registering, please prepare the following information: a copy of the business registration certification and contact details (representative's name, landline number, address).

Note

All KakaoCloud services are based on role-based access control (RBAC) via IAM (Identity and Access Management). IAM allows you to assign specific roles to users, enabling control over users, organizations, and projects. For more details on the permissions associated with each IAM role in KakaoCloud, refer to the IAM Roles page.

  • The user who first creates an organizational account on KakaoCloud becomes the Org Owner, who holds the highest level of administrative privileges.
  • The organization owner is automatically assigned the roles of Org Admin and Billing Admin.
