Quota
A quota represents the maximum number of resources or the maximum capacity of each resource that can be allocated within a single organization or project on KakaoCloud. Some quotas are eligible for an increase upon request via the Helpdesk.
The basic quota information for GPUs is as follows:
Menu | Item | Quota | Expansion Request | Description |
---|---|---|---|---|
Instance | Number of instances | 500 | Available | The maximum number of instances that can be created per project
|
vCPU count | 4,000 | Available | The number of virtual CPUs that can be allocated per project | |
Memory | 8,000 GiB | Available | The memory capacity that can be allocated per project | |
Volume | Number of volumes | 1,000 | Available | The number of volumes that can be allocated per project |
Key pair | Number of key pairs | 500 | Not available | The number of key pairs that can be created per user in a project |
Network interface | Maximum number of multi-network interfaces | Varies by instance type | Not available | The number of network interfaces that can be connected per instance |
Number of network interfaces | 3,500 | Available | The maximum number of network interfaces that can be created per project |
info
- Although quotas set and limit the allowed resources for users, enabling billing prediction and management, they may not always match the actual resource occupancy. Therefore, even if a quota is allocated, it is important to check Instance state and billing.
- Quotas for the number of Virtual Machine Instances, CPU cores, and Memory are shared with Bare Metal Server and Virtual Machine.
- The network interface quota per project includes management network interfaces that are automatically created when each service is provisioned.
