Service pricing and quotas

Virtual Machine pricing

The Virtual Machine (VM) service charges users based on the time each instance is used. Hourly pricing varies depending on the instance size.
For details on VM specifications and pricing, refer to KakaoCloud’s pricing guide.

Quotas

A quota refers to the maximum limit for creating specific resources within a KakaoCloud organization or project. Quotas can be increased upon request for supported resources.

  • Quotas define the limit of resources allowed to a user, which helps predict and manage billing, but they do not necessarily reflect actual resource usage. For details, refer to billing by instance state.
  • Quotas for the number of VM instances, vCPUs, and memory are shared with Bare Metal Servers and GPU instances.
